Loom’ithar
“Careful genetic modification has engendered in this beast an exquisitely-rare sensitivity to magical energies. Purpose-bred for the ability to infuse arcane energy into its prodigious silk weaving, it creates “living silk”–perfect for the Soulbinder to use in binding Shadowguards.”

Mechanics
Phase 1
Lair Weaving
Adds that deal damage to players they come into contact with. Once these die, a pathway opens to leave the circle we’re stuck in.
Adds
Kite
Overinfusion Burst
The boss is going to explode the planet. Run away very far and very fast. Stick near your healer friends if you know what’s good for you.
Deadly
Healer
Woven Ward
Infused Tangles (Lair Weaving adds) are protected by this. Tanks need to shoot their mechanic through the adds to break the shield.

Infusion Tether
The boss pulls a few players towards it. Run away and break the tethers, but try to drop them at the edge of the room, as they leave a puddle. Don’t try to break a tether in another puddle; you’ll be stunned for 10 seconds (years).

Phase 2
50%
Writhing Wave
Tank frontal that splits damage with everyone standing in it. We need to split the group to alternate this mechanic. Taking two in a row is death.

Arcane Outrage
Knocks back does moderate damage to the whole raid. Puddles will spawn as we’re getting knocked back, so dodge those and get back in position.

Unbound Rage
The boss begins taking extra damage and Arcane Ichor endlessly pours from the sky flooding the encounter area. This is a soft enrage. We either kill it or run out of space.

Strategy
TLDR
- Tanks face frontal at add to break its shield and taunt swap
- DPS kill the add and run through the gap
- If tethered to the boss, run out of raid 40+ yards and break; don’t run into existing pools on the ground
- Run out when Loom’ithar is doing her big AoE circle
- In Phase 2, lust and move the boss as needed when void zones are under her and start to become annoying
- Be careful to not get knocked back into mechanics
- Raid alternates soaking frontal with the active tank (no double soaks!)
Pre-Release Content Warning
These guides are best guesses based on available information from PTR boss testing, player speculation, and the in-game dungeon journal. Their accuracy is not guaranteed, but understanding the spirit of the encounters and how their mechanics interact is what’s truly important.
Take what’s said here with a grain of salt and be ready to adapt on raid day.
